Carlo Seo

baritone (South Korea)


      He graduated from the University of Yongnam and Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan. Since 2017 he has been studying with Raina Kabaivanska in her master classes at New Bulgarian University at Vecchi-Tonelli Music Institute in Modena. He was a laureate of the competitions “Fausto Ricci” in Viterbo and “Anita Cerquetti” in Montecosaro.


      He made his debut at Sofia Opera and Ballet, Teatro Luciano Pavarotti in Modena and the Philharmonic Theatre of Verona.


      His repertoire includes the roles of Belcore in Donizetti's “L’elisir d’amore”, Marcello in Puccini's “La Bohème”, Falke in Strauss's “Die Fleidermaus”, Baron Dufol and Marquis d'Obigny in Verdi's “La Traviata”, Marullo in “Rigoletto” and Alcalde in Verdi's “La forza del destino”,
Morales in Bizet's “Carmen”, Cajus in Otto Nicolai's “The Merry Wives of Windsor”, Yamadori in “Madama Butterfly” by Puccini and others.
