The first Master Classes of Raina Kabaivanska took place back in 1992, not faraway from Torino. Since then, it is practically impossible to trace the frequency with which she shares her experience in terms of technique, interpretation and acting with young performers. Mrs. Kabaivanska is professor at the Chigiana Music Academy of Siena, the Academy of Osimo, the Royal Opera Theatre in Madrid, Torre del Lago, and the Academy for young talents with Arena di Verona.
Raina Kabaivanska teaches Master Classes in Bulgaria as well. In 2001 the first of them took place at New Bulgarian University, and her 2002 Class already became an international event.
In the same year the Raina Kabaivanska Fund was founded at New Bulgarian University, which awards national and international grants for training in opera singing. The number and amount of these grants are determined by Raina Kabaivanska herself during her Master Classes at New Bulgarian University.
In 2004, together with Luciano Pavarotti, Mirella Freni and conductor Leone Maggiera, Mrs. Kabaivanska opened a Music Academy in Modena.
