Regulations
 Singers–students and professionals up to the age of 32 years and abroad are eligible for the Master Class in Opera Singing.
Eligible applicants
for Raina Kabaivanska’s Master Class are young opera singers, up to 32 years of
age, from Bulgaria and abroad
For the audition
and their further work in the Master Class applicants prepare a repertoire of 5
arias
Applicants from
abroad can participate in the audition by sending records of their performances.
The audition is
held by Raina Kabaivanska in person
After the audition,
10 participants are selected, as well as an additional number of class
attendants by the decision of Raina Kabaivanska
Applicants who are
not selected for the Mater Class may attend the Master Class as listeners
All participants
and listeners receive accreditation cards
Trainees are
assisted by rehearsal pianists and a teacher of Italian
New Bulgarian
University provides accommodation assistance to participants from abroad
Master Class
participants are eligible for scholarships from the Raina Kabaivanska Fund
Best Master Class
performers participate in a Gala Concert with the Sofia Opera and ballet Orchestra,
and with the special participation of Raina Kabaivanska
After completion of
their training, participants receive diplomas from New Bulgarian University
The Master Class is
open for audience
